Welcome!

I’ve wanted to be a pianist since I was a very small girl. When my two older siblings started lessons, I begged my parents to let me join them. I couldn’t yet read, but I was fairly solid on the alphabet, so they somehow convinced my teacher (a wonderfully patient woman!) to teach me. I still remember performing in my first recital in the nineties (a very simple version of Go, Tell it On the Mountain!), and I haven’t looked back since.

It’s still crazy to me… being able to look at my life and realize that God used music to shape it into what it is today. From those first lessons before I could read, to a degree in piano performance, to years of leading worship through song, to private teaching, to working at a university… I can’t believe that this gift is my LIFE.

For the past few years I’ve been teaching privately and working as a collaborative musician. I’ve learned so much (both from trial & error and from those around me!). I thought it was high time to get out there in the world and share some of my resources, ideas, and encouragement – like so many have done for me.

So here we are!!
