“The First Noel” | FREE Christmas arrangement

|

I have the privilege of teaching my sweet niece long-distance piano lessons over FaceTime (oh, the joys of technology!!). Her favorite Christmas song is “The First Noel,” so for her *first-ever* performance with my studio, I arranged it just for her.

My biggest complaint with “beginner” piano arrangements of Christmas tunes is that they’re BORING!! Most of the time it’s just the melody, with (maybe) a few chords. Well, not on my watch. Just because a piece is simple doesn’t mean it has to be boring. I wrote this piece with this is mind – a gorgeous, simple introduction that reappears as an interlude and leads nicely into the simple, familiar melody.

Hope you enjoy, and merry, merry Christmas to all you musicians out there!
